Multispectral Mapping

Plants reveal stress in wavelengths the eye can't see. Our multispectral sensors capture red-edge and near-infrared bands and turn them into vegetation indices that show you crop health, decline, and problem areas before they're obvious from the ground.

See plant health, not just plants

A standard photo shows you what's green. Multispectral imagery shows you what's thriving and what's failing. By measuring how vegetation reflects red-edge and near-infrared light, we produce indices like NDVI, NDRE, and OSAVI that map vigor, stress, and density across a field, orchard, or forest stand — so you can target irrigation, fertilizer, treatment, or removal where it actually matters.

From agriculture to forestry to invasives

On Hawaiʻi farms we support management plans with crop-health and soil-moisture indicators; in forests we assess canopy condition and decline; and across natural areas we help flag invasive species and weed pressure for targeted control. Pair it with our LiDAR and GIS work and you get both the structure and the health of the vegetation in one dataset.

What we deliver

  • Calibrated multispectral orthomosaics
  • Vegetation indices (NDVI, NDRE, OSAVI, and more)
  • Plant-health, stress, and density maps
  • Weed / invasive-species and decline detection
  • Zone maps for targeted treatment

Frequently asked questions

What can multispectral imagery show that a normal photo cannot?

It measures light the eye cannot see (red-edge and near-infrared) to reveal plant health, stress, and density before problems are visible from the ground.

What vegetation indices do you produce?

NDVI, NDRE, OSAVI and others, plus custom zone maps for targeted irrigation, treatment, or removal.

Is this useful for forestry as well as farms?

Yes — we use it for crop health on farms, canopy condition in forests, and invasive-species and weed detection across natural areas.

Which islands do you serve?

Every Hawaiian island.
