From Haleakalā to the West Maui Mountains
Maui's terrain swings from the alpine summit of Haleakalā to the deeply eroded, rain-soaked ridges of Puʻu Kukui and the West Maui Mountains, with Upcountry farmland and the Central Valley between. That range makes high-resolution terrain, drainage, and vegetation data especially valuable for the people working the land.
Wildfire, farms, and watersheds
Maui's wildfire risk is now one of the most serious in the state, and sound mitigation starts with knowing where the fuels and the terrain create danger. We map vegetation and fuels, support farm and agricultural planning with LiDAR, RGB, and multispectral data, and document watersheds and shoreline change with a light field footprint.
