Cookie policy
Last updated June 2026.
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. Hawaii Mapping uses them as little as possible. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless — which is why this site doesn't show a cookie consent banner.
What we use
- Analytics — no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures anonymous, aggregate traffic without setting cookies or tracking you across sites.
- Strictly necessary (security). Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set essential cookies (for example, for bot management and security) so the site loads safely and reliably. These are not used to track you or for advertising.
- Visit notifications — no cookies. The site sends us a private, real-time alert when a page is viewed. To avoid duplicate alerts it stores a single short-lived flag in your browser's session storage (not a cookie), which is cleared as soon as you close the tab. It sets nothing persistent and doesn't track you across sites. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- No advertising or profiling cookies. We don't run ad networks, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary security cookies may affect how the site loads, but nothing we do depends on tracking you.
